Sandwich
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread

  • 4 tablespoons vegan cream cheese or hummus

  • Assorted vegetable fillings (e.g., cucumber slices, shredded carrots, baby spinach leaves)


Snack
  • 1 cup mixed fresh fruits (e.g., sliced apples, grapes, berries)

  • 2 tablespoons nut butter or vegan yogurt for dipping


Drink
  • 1 cup plant-based milk (such as almond, soy, or oat milk)

  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or agave nectar (optional)

Tools Needed

  • Cutting board

  • Knife

  • Spreading knife or spoon

  • Lunchbox or food containers

Instructions

Sandwich:
  • Lay out the 4 slices of whole wheat bread on a clean surface.

  • Spread vegan cream cheese or hummus evenly on two of the bread slices.

  • Layer the assorted vegetable fillings on top of the spread.

  • Place the remaining bread slices on top to complete the sandwiches.

  • Cut the sandwiches into desired shapes, such as triangles or squares.


Snack:
  • Wash and prepare the mixed fresh fruits, slicing them if needed.
